Plaintiffs in that case were claiming more than $60 million in property damage. • Obtained $850,000 settlement for the owner of a luxury apartment complex in north Dallas in a lawsuit against the general contractor for defective concrete paving work. • Successfully tried a federal court lawsuit on behalf of a utility subcontractor sued by MCI for cutting a fiber optic cable during utility construction. Plaintiff sought more than $100,000 in damages, and received a jury verdict of approximately $6,000. • Successfully arbitrated a case for a structural engineer against a project owner who refused to pay for design work on a project that was never completed, obtaining an arbitration award of more than $100,000. • Successfully defended an electrical subcontractor against allegations that defective construction work caused an electrical fire that burned down a home near Gilmer, Texas, obtaining a jury verdict of no negligence on the subcontractor's part.
